History of St. Francis Catholic Shop
St. Francis Catholic Shop was first opened in 1994 by Barbara and Bob Scott. Barbara was a Second Order Franciscan and the shop orignally sat in office buildings located on Bush River Rd in front of Our Lady of the Hills.
After Barbara's death, the store was sold to Deacon Joe and Kathy Biviano in 2002.
In 2005, Deacon Joe sold the store to Deacon Greg and Maureen Weigold
A little shop trivia: all three owners are members of Our Lady of the Lake in Chapin and both deacons are assigned there.
St. Francis Catholic Shop is the only full-service, full-time, Catholic store in the Midlands, serving parishes from Aiken to Florence, from Greenwood to Rock Hill.
